NOAH is a broad environmental and resource company
Our customers are Norwegian and Nordic industrial companies and incinerators as well as the construction industry. We offer our customers safe handling of residual products and surplus materials. At the same time, we restore damaged nature.
In our subsidiary, Rekefjord Stone AS, we produce high-quality stone products that are exported to Europe for use in coastal protection, sea window development and paving. read more about Rekefjord Stone.
At NOAH, we have a large and broad competence environment that, in addition to working to give our customers and society security for the treatment we carry out, also spends a lot of time and resources on finding ways to utilize resources found in the industry's residual fractions and the construction industry's surplus masses .
Nature restoration
On Langøya outside Holmestrand, NOAH has an advanced treatment facility where we use contaminated residual products from various industries and incinerators as input factors to produce a stable and harmless material that is used to rebuild the island after many decades of lime extraction. Much of the island has been rehabilitated and made available as an attractive recreation area for the population.
The process on Langøya is recognized for using little energy, water and chemical additives as NOAH, through its expertise and technology, uses chemical properties in an industry's residual product to neutralize and stabilize challenging content in other residual products.
Fossil-free operation
In Engadalen in Nittedal municipality, we accept surplus materials from construction projects in the Oslo region. The masses are quality assured and used to fill up a valley depression which, after completion, can be used for agricultural purposes. This is carried out under strict regulations and requirements for cleaning leachate so that the surrounding environment is not negatively affected. Our construction machines are based on fossil-free operation.
In Oslo, NOAH is collaborating with Franzefoss to establish a soil washing plant that will recover large quantities of surplus materials from development projects.
Cooperation on climate solutions
NOAH works along the entire value chain to find good climate solutions for transport and own operations. The aim is to halve greenhouse gas emissions from our own operations and help customers, suppliers and partners to cut their emissions. In addition to collaboration in the industry on solutions such as electric sea drones, heavy transport on liquid biogas and hybrid technology for cargo ships, NOAH is establishing a competence center for collaboration on recycling solutions across the value chain.
