NOAH Engadalen - The Oslo region's largest reception for surplus materials
In Engadalen in Nittedal municipality, NOAH accepts surplus materials from construction projects in the Oslo area. The reception has a large capacity and is the solution for many of the region's most important building and construction projects such as the new water supply, the Fornebubanen and the Life Sciences Centre.
NOAH Engadalen offers:
- Central location near Oslo, 30 km from Sinsenkrysset.
- Large reception capacity of up to 750 tonnes of pulp per year.
- Efficient reception with double scales, simplified registration routine and invoicing.
- Service-minded staff who are present during all opening hours.
- Wheel washing system for efficient washing of vehicles.
New agricultural land
NOAH Engadalen is a project where we convert former wasteland and unproductive land into new agricultural land. We do this by shaping a new landscape with excess material that is top-sealed and finally a thick layer of topsoil is added. When the reception ends, the area will be productive agricultural land. In this way, we solve both the region's need for mass reception and ensure increased food production for the future.
Fossil-free operation
The plant is operated with modern machines that run on biofuel. We are proud that the operation of the reception produces net zero emissions of CO2. Here you can read more about fossil-free mass reception.
